About Atomic

Chris Linn always wanted to run his own business and work with dye and fabric. His first grade teacher taught him to tie dye in 1977. After that, Chris kept making tie dyes and as time went on he traveled and sold his shirts to stores and at Grateful Dead concerts. He landed his first major account with Brine in 1988 and his company was born.
About Chris and Jenny
Chris and Jenny grew up together surrounded by the beautiful hills, lakes and forests of central New York. Both of them learned to batik while still in high school

and together they started designing and making batiked clothing. In 1992, Ben and Jerry's Homemade noticed their work and asked them to make batiks for their catalog and factory store.
Atomic Today
Today, while they still travel to art shows and music festivals, Chris and Jenny spend most of their time at their studio in Ohio, creating batik designs and hand making wholesale orders for clients all over the world. Inspired by the birth of their beautiful son, their work reflects the amazing people and places the owners have experienced during their time together.
